Thanks for all the great posts everyone. I'm surprised no one talked about the Anamnesis. Subdecay has come out with such great pedals recently, I figured at least a few would have jumped on their new delay. Still not sure what the purchase will be. I really do need to check some out in person. I don't think this can be a purchase I can only go into with just Youtube clip knowledge. If you think of or come across anymore cool delays that might meet what I'm looking for I'd still love to hear them!

I think the lack of support for the Anamnesis is because so many great proven delays are already out there. Subdecay is not in too many stores either (in my neck o' the woods at least..) so not many people get to try it out first.

The TC Flashback is definitely one of the better options in your price range.

I have a Strymon Brigadier and absolutely love it. You can pick them up on eBay in your price range. I find it to be a very musical pedal and one of the best delay pedals for on the fly manipulation. It is worth checking out. The El Capistan is also nice, but not for my playing style.

Damn you all who suggested the Flashback. I just looked at one on Ebay and am now considering getting rid of my Akai Headrush and replacing it with the Flashback.

And I was happy with my board until then.
If I replace the Akai with that then I can fit another pedal on my board... STOP BRAIN STOP, MAKE THE GAS GO AWAY!!!!!

no don't do that the only reason I get my flasnack is because I can't find a headrush.

How do the Malekko Ekko and MXR Carbon Copy Compare? Are they any different. I have the CC, but the Ekko has been intriguing me. Is one better than the other? Or ar they both the same thing?

I've tried both of them and preferred the Malekko's repeats,modulation and buffer. Not to say the CC is bad or even medicore I really dug it but the Malekko is all that...and a bag of potato chips

To me the repeats on the Malekko were just warmer, the modulation was more pleasing and the self-oscillations were just AMAZING
