for those of you in the know, which 3 woods are this Thumb made of?
ovankol? bubinga? other?

Well, the "standard" Thumbs neck wood changed over time.

Was Wenge, then Ovangkol, and back to Wenge in 2013.

Body's been Bubinga or Bubinga Pommele on the NTs.

Nice thing about Warwick is you can customize if you'd like other woods. It's only money.

I don't know what I see in those pics. Bubinga neck? Ovangkol body? Looks like a Bubinga fingerboard too?

I'm so cornfused. Looks pretty, though.

Yup, this is my guess too. Doesn't look like bubinga is on that bass. Must be a relatively newer/younger Thumb.

Being German, does Warwick keep records and serial numbers to look this kinda stuff up? Most German companies have pretty darn accurate records.

Ovangkol body and neck, wenge fingerboard. I had a BO and a neck through and the pic you have looks just like my bolt on thumb.

Yes they do. Warwick will reply with a detailed response if you provide them the serial number.

Definitely Ovangkol body. Because of the grain, it must be a Wenge fretboard even though it's much lighter in color than my old thumb B/O.

Definitely a Wenge fingerboard. Wenge can appear much lighter in direct sunlight, I suspect it looks more like regular dark Wenge under indoor lighting.
