Neat stuff man, also checked your current project in your sig, looks quite cool. I was wondering how you got that modified tbird logo on the pick guard??
Actually the orange "Halloween" bass is my current project. Its actually a Zelda trifore sticker that I got from ebay. Be sure to indicate the color when youre buying so you dont end up with yellow like I did!

Cool. Thnx for the info, I saw your pictures and I immediately thought to wrap my pick guard as well, though I'm not sure on what kind of vinyl to wrap it with yet haha. A decal instead of the normal Tbird logo looks really awesome!
How did you came up with the idea to wrap your whole bass?? And doesn't the vinyl make your neck play much less smooth?

Im a big fan of cars and a cheap, reversible way to change the look of your car is to wrap it in vinyl. I recommend 3M vinyl if youre wrapping the pickguard because its thicker so its more durable and easier to apply. I always use textured vinyl on the neck so its not as sticky, but the gloss vinyl is just as sticky if not faster than the back of the bare neck

Thanks. Carlo continues to produce beautiful work. This one has Max Thunderbuckers on it, raised center, fore arm and waist contour. And the ever important sanded back of the neck so my sweaty left hand does not stick.

Right - just trying to decide which bridge I want to use. :)

I'll post a build thread. But since my builds are generally measured in eons, I'll wait until I have a bit more progress to share...

I'm actually planning to build fraternal twins.

I decided to use Schaller bridges, which means no neck angle, but I'll carve a generous relief on the back to compensate.

Build thread started. I'm excited!

Should come home next week. As usual a beauty Carlo!!

That is simply awesome looking. Love the blocks and I really like how the headstock shape works with the rest of the bass.

Looking good so far!

As the date for the arrival of the Epi Classic is bumped once again I thought it would be a good time for some eye candy. Sandberg posted this 9/25 and haven't seen it posted here so....enjoy!

My 'Bird is now fretless. I'm learning how to make it sound like I want. Fretless with flats is really different than frets with rounds, but I'm amazed at how much change it made in the way the bass feels. I liked it before, but now it's far better.

anyone know much about the special chrome, epi white 'Birds. these are sharp. the chrome looks better than the black hardware IMO....found one at GC this weekend, its ships tomorrow, needs a set up and i scored it at a really good price. cant wait!!

Those pickups were the subjuct of some question.......turns out they are guitar pups. Not saying that's bad either, just try it out. As we know there are plenty of good replacements out there.
