Holy crap. Strap just popped out (Dunlop strap locks) and my T4 hit the stage during soundcheck. Seems ok (best I can tell in dark). Switched to other strap as it then almost came out of my Sadowsky.

Sorry to hear that. I've had Dunlops in my Carvin for years. In fact, Carvin offers that as an option from the factory. This has happened to me a couple of times, fortunately as I'm about to play. Both times I think it's been that the lock never fully clicked in. I now really check it and pull on it to make sure it won't come out. YMMV.

Same for me. I've been using Dunlops for 15 years. Early on I discovered that sometimes they don't click in so I always pull on them to check after I insert them. And once in a while one pulls out when I pull on it.

Once they are in good they are very reliable.

This is exactly why I switched all my basses to schaller strap locks....never had a problem since. ImageUploadedByTalkBass1362922255.507407.jpg

Good advice!
