Beautiful! What pick ups did you put in?

Factory pickups with the black plastic covers stripped off and replaced with metal nickel plated ones.
Yeah it was a lot easier then I though it was gonna be....you just got break it off piece by piece...like peeling an orange...using small plastic cutting snips....after you get the plastic off you will just have a block of epoxy with a pickup inside....with a little light sanding on the epoxy it will slide right into the nickel cover snugly....just always be careful around the wire where it goes into the epoxy.
Ok I seen the covers and rings on ebay and thought wow that would dress her up nice. thanks for the info
Has anybody installed some lollar tb pick ups in their tbird ? And if so is it worth the four hundred dollars for both of them. And what aboit the rings I don't see them on their website.
Consider ThunderBuckers from Link Removed
Around $400 with rings, spacers and all mounting screws. Here's an installation on an Epi Pro.

Wow looks great!....what bridge/tailpiece did you use?
Thanks...that's a bridge/tailpiece I designed for my basses. Steve at Thunder Bucker Ranch is manufacturing them now as well as bridge and tailpiece covers. This is the latest version.

Very nice...yeah I saw the covers on his site but I didn't see the bridge/tailpiece combo.
Yep that's where I got my covers too.
Are they the covers and rings sold by philaluthiertools? My new NR is totally chromified except for the pickups. Can't decide between recovering the TB Plus pickups or replacing them with Thunderbucker 66s.
