I noticed something last night. If you hold the T-Bird to the side, the bridge pickup is not level with the strings. It's on a slant. The neck pickup is level. Is this normal?

I checked out a couple of your vids on facebook, looks like you're using a pick with your Spector - Thunderbirds + Roundwounds + a pick = Greatness!
My strings are usually .45 -.105 Long Scale, I need to try some BB's soon

What's with the Bicentennial '76 Pick Guard? There is a guy locally selling an Epi bird with the '76 pick guard for $375 and posted a photo of from eBay of the same pick guard with a BIN of $650. Surely it's not really worth that much...especially if they guy is only selling the guitar with that pg for $375. What is a realistic price for that PG? I'm looking to spend around $200 for a guitar, but if I could make some money back selling the PG I could front the $375.

The pickguard in question has been listed at that price for a while. It's not worth that at all IMO. I know someone that spent much less than that and he felt ripped off. You should be able to sell the guard, but I would be shocked if you recovered the full price of the Epi. If you sold it for $150 or so, would that be enough to cover your comfort zone?

I've seen those PG's around $100.00 or so......If you're looking for one to restore a '76 you're over a barrel as they say. They are a different size than the Epi one and have different hole locations...................
I one of the 76 pg on ebay for 600.00 bones whether if it is worth that much idk. But consider the price of a 76 t bird and then 600.00 don't sound that far off
I thought I read the Epi PG holes are in different locations...so this means new holes were made in that Epi or the PG is not original. Would there be any way to tell? I'm looking to spend 150-250 on an Epi Bird depending on condition and whether it comes with a case. So if I could get 150-200 bucks out of the PG if it's legit I'd be happy. I might just see what he'd take for the Epi without the PG. The Epi is a 2008.

The Epi and '76 Gibson PG's are different dimensions and the holes do not line up, he has re drilled that bass to mount it. Also look again and you'll see he has home made bridge and pickup covers (in black!) mounted on it............Hinky.
He mentioned to he put a Gibson trod cover on it! 
Looks like that pup cover is mounted right through the guard too which may affect it's salability.

'76 pickguards are supposed to have a hole in that location.........they had pup and bridge covers.
