Interesting. Mine is 13352, but it says, "MADE IN USA 2013 MODEL". I guess that late was considered a 2013 model. Or are guitar models like cars? :)

Cool, thanks for that info. The s/n on my bass is 024070xxx, which would indicate a production date of day 240 of 2007. Thanks!

thanx redneck, that was easier than i thought..

except mine starts with a number a not a letter, but wiki explains that and mine is made in china..

Not exactly a collectors piece is it?

I still intend to keep it forever though as its my first real bass, going to do some serious upgrades aswell

Thats weird, but i like it!

Im going to put bigsby b5 tremolo on it, and some thunderbuckers. Then at a later stage ill put big chrome clover tuners and drop d extender, lots of chrome, lots of gadgets.

Also going to bash it up a bit and age the finish

Hey guys and gals
I'm going to buy a new amp in two weeks. The old one is... well 40+ years old, originally an PA of 200W and is kind of not liking the fact that I'm using it about twice a week whilst rehearsing haha when I bought it I was down on cash and I desperately needed something with more than 30W.
The preamp starts clipping with the gain just past 2, ditto for he power amp at 3....

Anyway, I've got a 210 ported cab with 2 celestion 8Ohm 200W rms rated speakers wired parallel, so combined that's 400W over 4Ohms :)
Did a bit of searching for what was available near my home so I'll be able to test it first.
Got down to the following amps all around the €400-€600

Aguilar Tonehammer 350
Eden WTB400-E
Hartke HA3500
Tecamp Tiger 400

Does any of you have experience with these amps and an Epiphone Tbird Pro. I mostly play blues/blues rock and sometimes a bit of funky blues stuff, no slapping though.

Or do you have any other suggestions, to be honest I'm not sure if something like a 250W markbass would suffice volume wise? (we rehearse in a 15m2 padded room, with a normal/hardish hitting drummer, and we're looking at gigging in bars and small/medium clubs)
I can't afford another cabinet or sth, but I am sure that 400W should easily suffice.

I decided to adjust my neck Pup height, so I turn the screws and its almost bottomed out already. I back the screws out and the pickup doesn't move! I removed the screws and look inside and their are no springs, washers or anything! Am I missing something? Both pickups are the same- pickup and screw, nothing else. Oh yeah, almost forgot, this is the new Epi classic4 alpine white. Everything else on this bass is mint! I'm thinking of buying some small springs to try, but maybe someone has a better idea. Thanks in advance!

Hartke's are a really nice Head. I have the LH 500 and I am in love with the tones I get out of it. The Tube pre amp gives it a nice warmth and you can get a real dirty gritty sound to when you want it. They are good for all styles of music. They are also built like tanks and the customer service is amazing!
