Thanks! Yeah I've been toying with buying a new Gibson and installing chrome aftermarket hardware and some of Mike Lull's pickups but I know as soon as I do Gibson's going to finally decide to release a production version.

I kept that Ricky for 30 years, really never should have let go, but a '77 Thunderbird (which I still have) was calling my name, alas they are beautiful. sexy Sirens that call me, I was weak

Me too!

My first good bass was a mint 70's jetglo 4001 I got 2nd hand in '77 - fantastic instrument that I stupidly sold after 10 years with all my other basses, when I switched to playing keyboards...

That is about the only instrument I regret ever having sold...

Here's my '06 Epi T-bird. Just upgraded with EMG TB-P & TB-J pups (active P & J pups in a T-bird housing), Hipshot Detuner, Hipshot Supertone 3-Point bridge and a P-bass pickup cover over the front of the bridge (so I don't cut up my pinkie when I use a pick & can still change strings without having to remove cover). Number please?

They are indeed on their website - Just pick either HB6 tuner and you will see all the options available: chrome, gold and black in either Y-key, clover-key or lollipop-key variants.

Those are regular clovers which were available for years. New, smaller clovers are not there yet.

Hiho,44 here.
Just an update,my epi t-bird pro is still going great guns after a struggle to get it set up right.
Took a while but it,s settled now and stable as a rock.
Dtuner on it now and life is good.
Will they make a classic pro in black?.
Might have to get a pro4 and wire it passive to get a black one.
I could rewire my one but then I wouldn,t have an active one then.
Oh decisions.

Hopefully they do make other colours available. I hope that they make the goth and blackbird like that too. Personally, if they do make more colours, i'd get one in pelham blue. Still want a white one though

It's the lighting making it look red. But thanks for the compliments on it. Played it thru my SVT 3 last nite (sounded incredible!) & can't wait to bust it out for a gig!!!
