…if you’ve never played a pre 2000 Warwick Thumb BO5 you’re missing something very special. I’d seriously consider trying this pup brand/placement and control package in a Tbird build if it wouldn’t look so odd. Its the best Jazz pup setup I’ve played, much better than any of my Fender Jazz basses.

I think my 6 string corvette was a 95, but it just had soapbars

the town (San Juan Bautista) is celebrating it’s yearly rib cook off :hyper:
the venue is literally across the street from the mission from Hitchcock’s 1958 classic “Vertigo” with Jimmy Stewart…..

My wife’s family is from there. Unfortunately, most of the ones still in San Juan are napping up on the hill.

The $$ corvette was a serious bottom end monster! Never tried a 6 string but loved a 4$$ that I friend of mine owned. The Thumb is a totally different beast in sound and feel. The Thumb was my main player for years but I had to retire it when my left rotator cup tore. That’s pretty much healed now (unfortunately the right one is currently killing me) so I might start playing it again. Thumb basses are serious deep sea neck divers.

One of my very top favorite pics of all time. Never gets old. Mind if I post it someplace in the GP--and who I got it from? I always want to give credit where credit is due. :woot:

Certainly - Have fun!
