Thunderbird Club

Better yet:
1. Stand on the scale with the amp.
2. Write that weight on the calendar some time in March.
3. Weigh yourself without the amp.
4. Write that weight on the calendar on today's date.
5. Bask in the warm glow of self satisfaction and eat a bucket of ice cream to celebrate the accomplishment.
Perfect! I'll try that with this:

Well. So ends the great(?) SIT flats experiment. If I'd had my tools with me, I'd have changed back to my slightly worn EBCFs during our first break. So I changed them as soon as I got home. I'm not saying the SITs are 'bad' strings; they just don't work for me. Oh, well, I shoulda bought $29 worth of lotto tickets.

Sorry to hear that. What about them didn't work for you?

Sorry for all the questions, but how was the tone different? Really trying to understand how the two differ.
Less clarity using my "default" amp settings. I like my Rumble amps for ease of movement, tone, etc., but the top rear mounted controls are a real PITA to adjust during a gig w/o creating a lotta 'dead air'. I set myself up the best I could b4 we started, but I wasn't happy with the sound I put out.
I s'pose I'll sell(?)or hold on to the SITs in case the strings on my Epi EB-0 take a :poop:.

Finally got the nerve up to do more no skill soldering. But at least I now have a functioning power switch on my Sunn amp.

As long as @Chucky Stiletti doesn’t open it up in July, I should be safe from ridicule.

Well there’s aesthetics and functionality. As long as you have solid solder joints and nothing is in danger of shorting, it’s all good!

Here's Will (Gaolee) pontificating on the fine points of the Fremont Troll.

…and after a joyous dinner and drinks, the Queen said - Let them eat cake! And there was much rejoicing. :hyper:
