That bass is for sale here on TB too. Nice pics! Not affiliated, by the way. I can only afford one Bird'......... for now.
Big fan of TBirds and currently looking for a SS Thunderbird.
Do you guys think this one is in good condition?

So, I just happened across Jeff Babicz's facebook a while ago and saw this. The new Babicz FCH 3 point drop in replacement bridge for Gibson basses. It looks pretty awesome to me, but I've never used a Babicz bridge on anything before.

That looks interesting!

Saddle locking is pretty much a gimmick. I mean, really. How often do your saddles move out of position that you need to lock them down?? Given that they have screws going through the back of the bridge with springs on them, the locks are kind of unnecessary. Personally, I'd want the bridge just for the fact that it looks much better for intonation than the 3 point. It also appears to have about 1/4" more play for intonation than he 3 point. It's that saddle locking system that has me really interested
Oh, I like this!!! Much more than the Supertone.I wonder if he'll do one with chrome saddles.

looks to me as its just about as bulky as the supertoneI love my three point, but i think this is a must have for me. Finally, something that isn't a huge bulk like the supertone. I love the sleekness look to this bridge![]()
I use the programmable sansamp bddi with 6 settings for my bass juggling- I went with that because I didn't want to start knob twiddling with all the amp models and stuff- like the raw toneI use a Line 6 Bass Pod Live and give each bass it's own setup, it helps take into account the many individual differences basses have and still be manageable onstage when I want to use different 'Birds during a show.
