I use a Line 6 Bass Pod Live and give each bass it's own setup, it helps take into account the many individual differences basses have and still be manageable onstage when I want to use different 'Birds during a show.

Did some quick research on the Iron Cross ( at times also called the Maltese Cross ) ... in a nut shell, the Iron Cross predates the Nazi use by many decades ....

If you look at the American P-bass in my avatar, you will see a German eagle. I wonder how many people think it's "nazi." Nope just my German roots.

That is a pretty cool solution...

In my band, which is partly electronic, I have both my guitar and bass setup in Mainstage running GuitarRig with the Rammfire plugin and several effects. I use different setups tailored to the individual songs and instruments used, which all change automatically when we load the songs for our set. This way, I only have to worry about playing and changing instruments.

Line 6 has a (not undeserved) bad rep - mine has been a very useful pedal tho, I don't use it much for effects but I can create a numbered preset for each bass and with a little effort set up similar volume levels and individual eq's - very helpful.

Yep he's from Milnathort which is just outside Kinross. I'm originally from a small village called Kinglassie about 15 miles or so from there

May I suggest you find a picture of a Pelham blue Epi bird and play around with that in Photoshop or similar, and add the white cross at different angles to see what works best...

There's a Pelham blue on EBay currently, which has some nice pictures you can work with.

If you don't have an editor, you could always print them out and add the white stripes afterward...

Since the saltire is a pretty simple design, you can actually do this by simply wrapping you bird with vinyl, instead of doing a paint job.

You might have more trouble applying a vinyl to the contours of the T-bird than to just paint it, though.
