Everyone wants to scope things. It is far less invasive, which means less anesthesia, less OR time, less blood loss, and can be done as day surgery. The net result is safer and cheaper. A win for everyone.We’re more scope happy down here. Let’s not get into the debate as to why and leave it to other forums.
The extent of damage in shoulders can be particularly difficult to see on imaging (but you know that) unless you have access to a high level T machine at a top tier institution. And then getting time on one for an orthopedic issue is difficult. And expensive.
I really hope @Dr_Feelgoood212 can get it taken care of soon and get back to playing!
