Fly! You fool!Only if you post a pic of a watermelon in purple silk.
I recall some here saying he thought they sounded sappy when he ran across them in person once when he was young.I wouldn't dare mention his name because he's moving back to this side of the country and don't want his ire directed at me.
But it was a great, funny and memorable story from his youth--and I'm sure his appreciation has grown over the years.
Thanks!
I was wondering if I was the only one who read the original post that way vs Roman numeral. The nurse yells at me every time I pull out my IV...
Good bad or otherwise, I can’t recall a single Metallica song that Trujillo has been on that I can even hear his bass. I know he’s a talented player, but it seems he’s always completely buried in the mix.Well the version I know is Daisley and Kerslake, so I'm good. I could honestly care less about the new version, and have a newly compromised attitude about Trujillo and Bordin, taking part in such soap opera/tantrum-borne behavior. Besides, why would you presume to try and improve on a classic? Especially under the impetus of somebody's pissed off spouse...
Fck those two...
Thunderbrother!
It was me, and they were sappy. Haven’t heard from Gina in decades, I must have made a great impression.I forget who it was, but it was a pretty great story!
Chromes? (color blind here....blue?)….

Rerecorded just the bass and replaced the original album with theSarzoTrujillo* version all to avoid paying Bob Daisley royalties.

* My error. It was Trujillo that rerecorded the parts, not Sarzo.

The Daisley/Kerslake vesions were pulled in favour of the new recordings by the Harpy. Unless you had the CD you were listening to the new version.Well the version I know is Daisley and Kerslake, so I'm good.
