Thunderbird Club

should fit the 67.....kick myself for not trying one of the available 2021(2?) cases with the 68....what I do know is it fits the 2013 case so.....
@MCF if Marshall's 2013 fits his 2021 case and viceversa, the 67 should fit that case like a glove....

After hearing V’s, I only have good things to say about what I heard.
And still I think they’re the closest thing to Lulls.
I have described them before as compared to the 60s as sounding something like having the tone and volume about half open. More dialed back sounding, I'd say, but do that true Thunderbird tone. But neither the '64 Epi or Thunderbird are loud (compared to the the NR, VPs or '06). The '76 sounds good with 66s, but I used to have Fender Flats on it and TIs before that and was very happy.

How would you compare the sound from those to the TB+?
different magnets, different physical setup, totally different sound....TB+ modern sounding, much flatter and much hotter....BUT, less dynamic range...you can really drive the sidewinders hard...much harder than the TB+ before you start saturating them...if the amp happens to have decent headroom, and you set the amp's sweet point correctly, you're in for a treat of bouncy, pillowy bliss...

I saw an ad for another case(Crossrock cases)that 'fits' Thunderbirds. It's 48" inside length. My 67 is 51.5". Oops!
I had bought another case a few years ago that stated in the specs it would fit. Yeah, if I cut off an inch and a half.:banghead: Sent back.

My CP came with the epiphone hardcase, and my Greco fits it perfectly.

I ordered another today. and I got a couple cases for my beloved embassy basses too, I had planned to buy these sooner but I kept getting distracted by shiny stuff...

I hadn't needed a NR case so I don't know what's good/available for those...

Love the Red.......Still liking those pickups? :)
Lol I'm ok with the pickups they sound good, I do like the Epiphone 760s a bit better but I will probably leave it alone. I am already wrestling with the addition of a 60s tailpiece but so far I haven't succumbed.
