AFAIK Lulls are still available, expensive, yes. Worth it? Ask the guys that played my '89 at Chuck's.

Schecter basses can be a lot of bang for low bucks. That seems like a great deal if there are no issues with it.

There are also EMGs, Seymour Duncans, Bartolinies, and there was a guy in England winding some a few years ago; I can’t recall his name.

Yeah, I'm sold on them. Listening to Veronica's Lull next to everything else, I almost think it sounds better than the '64. Blasphemy, of course, but it's not the first time I have committed blasphemy.

A very close second to Lulls are the Sidewinders in V’s mean, purple people eater.
