We made really good time on the trip home, all those connecting freeways that head north and veer into I-5 were empty,
on 515 I had the Subie in cruise at 90MPH for about 30 miles (that went by quickly) as we were the only car out at about 4:00am. On I-5 we made a pretty consistent 80 through most of the flats up to Redding, we shaved the trip done to 12 hours 25 minutes for 855 miles.............
We're home and safe, just set up an install for the new floor in the basement, 7/20 yay!

What are you putting down in the basement? I need to decide what to with mine at the mountain place where I’ll most likely end up with all my music stuff.
Happy to store the 2015 if you run out of space

Thanks Geo. Rifs (the HR term for reduction in force) suck. Geico laid off approximately 25% of the legal department a week ago Tuesday. Absolutely no warning. And they don’t have the guts to announce it publicly. And the way it was handled was demeaning and unprofessional. I was the low man on the totem pole.
I have plenty of prospects, so I’ll no doubt find something for the next couple years until official retirement.
They probably did me a favor. Geico is an awful company to work for.
As you know Dave, that’s my favorite bass. It’s lite and has the most diverse tone of any Thunderbird. Ever. You’ll have to pry it from my cold hands.Happy to store the 2015 if you run out of space

It's a concrete floor and the laundry room is there too, so the plan is for some vinyl plank, nothing fancy. Frank has done all the work, built the closet, installed these nice 2"LED recess cans put the cupboards up above my modeling desk, there's some barn door sliders yet to do, he's amazing.
It's a bit of a mess just now, but it'll come together pretty quick.
