It is Korean made, so maybe $325.$300.00 tops.
There's just something about naturally aged finishes, cracks and all. <sigh>
OK Boomer![]()
Not much choice being left-handed.Until I got that old bass I just didn’t understand the attraction to a worn, checked finish, see it in person, and it will change your mind. Chuck’s ‘68 and Jio’s ‘64 were simply beautiful old basses
We need an events or Wiki page where members can list their gigs. Never know when some miscreant might show up.where are you playing tonight?

Good point Dave.It is Korean made, so maybe $325.
Sly McFlys in Monterey….decent sounding room..where are you playing tonight?
The Gene Simmons is a nice bass. There were very few distributed to Canada. I managed to try the one that L&M got in my local (may have been the only one L&M wide). It was sold a day later. Here you go. Forgot about my Explorer Bass. View attachment 4743854View attachment 4743855
I like D standard. Then notes are all where I expect them to be. No mental gymnastics moving things by two frets all the time.I've just tuned the CP and VP to D standard. Problem solved. I hadn't looked at a chart or tab in months, though, just been practicing by ear, so when Jonathan pulled out a cord chart with c#, it took a mo to get out of whackadoodle mode, but my bass world is back to "normal" now.
A better idea for @GBassNorthI’m not sure about thatfun ti think about though!
but @GBassNorth do you have a favourite combination of pickups? Neck+Middle? Neck+bridge?
I seem to remember you go all 3 but vary the volume on some?
I think if I had a 3 pickup anything I’d like a switch for each pickup like the Bass VI uses (unlike the Strat selector) so I could get any or all of the pickups in any combination.

And if I am not wearing my melon, you won't even know I was there...We need an events or Wiki page where members can list their gigs. Never know when some miscreant might show up.
That was an NR II that was previously owned by Tom Petersson, set up right-handed. They wanted $12,500. I'd get banned from this site if I said my response to that.It was stupid money, but wasn’t there a left handed Non Reverse on Reverb a while back?
Sly McFlys in Monterey….decent sounding room..
this lineup…thanks for asking!!
Probably has the same legs!Looks like Veronica's evil twin.
