How about a Leon Thunderbird or NR? JE? Way?.... They actually played them. A lot. So yeah, I don't get it either. Normal people likely never will. Maybe it will be a hit. But seems to fall into the pattern of overthinking then doing it in an odd direction. I'm sure a marketing person had some data that said oil was just under the ground. Of course it also boils down to who's name you can buy and for what price.

Active/passive...but not neck through. I wonder why this and the Gene Simmons aren't neck through? Cost? Very cool bass though!


I think that's really cool variation on the traditional Thunderbird - I like it.
Those pickups and set neck construction are a good combination.
