Thunderbird Club

The guy in the white shirt looks like the kid from the Gentle Ben TV series. I think he was also in the movie Airplane.
Appears to be Clint Howard, Ron Howard’s brother.

Not too many nice things said about Teisco on TB. Microphonic pickups, hard to setup, were entry level at best when new.

I like mine, it is a real thumping stick. Mind you it has an enormously high action. Don’t dig it out often enough.

Mine has the same (dilapidated) cardboard case.

yes I have the OHSC as well. With a busted lock and strange comments written in white out all over it

Greco pickup spacing is correct to 60s specs aren't they? No doubt adding to the amazing tone.

I don’t know on the spacing, I would have to check.

This morning, it looked like only 2 of my 4 packages was arriving today.

but when I had given up hope of making just one trip to the fedaxe store.. they were delivered mid-afternoon.

epi bird case for the Greco, and two cases for my Embassy’s…

Don’t tell anyone but if I had to run out the door this instant to play a gig at Wembly, I’d grab the green embassy without hesitation.

one of the least expensive basses I own and one of the best.

This fella here, pretty much. More so if you use a pick.

Here with the rest of the band for context.

There wasn't anything else quite like a Who concert. Glad I got to see them twice. Wish I hadn't been so stoned. But still, what I recall was off the chain.

If I were in a Who cover band, I'd have use for the angry piano sound!

I believe you, but that red bird is to die for.
