I know I’m no Mike Watt by any stretch.
But I’ll totally vouch for your Bad Bird bridge any day Scott.

Off the top of my head.....they're not the bolt-on Epiphone IV afaik, but...

Nikki Sixx of Motley Crüe often played one (had two different signature Gibsons & one Epiphone; played Gibsons & some other brands that copied the shape);

Donna F (Maya Ford) of The Donnas (Gibsons, afaik);

Chuck Garrick, Alice Cooper's current bassist (Gibson & Epiphone Vintage Pro);

John Entwistle from The Who, but he started modding his after a few years?, not sure when.

Went to the rehearsal space today and dusted off the Waterstone TP-2 for a quick try-out (it's been months since I played it). It's wired in stereo so I plugged the neck pickup into the L4 and ran the bridge pickup into an overdriven L2.Why not the Hiwatt? I didn't have any powercords there. I didn't even have a pick in my pocket but the Waterstone's neck is so wide (52mm at the saddle) so it's quite easy to play fingerstyle too which I don't usually do with the 12-string.
Some stupid riffage and noodling but if one has to make a glorious racket an octave stringed bass with multiple amps is a good choice for that.

The 67's OHSC worked fine for nearly 8 years of 6 nights a week gigs, but eventually the headstock end got cracked and gave way. Repairs were attempted(unsuccessfully), so various substitutes have been tried.
The load in/out process needs to be done quickly about one hour b4 downbeat(there's no setting up early except for one gig-and I use a short scale there). There's a lotta potential for damage in the gigmobile due to the amount of other [stuff] I hafta carry. The bass is 52" long so(so far)no commercially available case*, except the ginormous Coffin(TM)case, is long enuff. Also, FWIW, the places we play don't have an area to store cases while we're playing (no stage therefore no back stage), so cases, duffels, etc. are behind us. And at one venue, I hafta leave the case in the van.

*I've searched numerous times

There are times when USPS drops the ball. If it's your item, it looks bad. But the sheer volume moved every night is staggering. I've had things take 3 days from my house to Orlando(140 miles), and I've gotten packages from Sweetwater(Ft.Wayne, IN, to Stuart, FL,~1200 miles)in 2 days.
