I just think none of us has one to offer some insight on so the question might be a good one for the General Population.
I kind of figured that would probably be the case.
The Schecter Ultra looks like they are trying to combine a reverse and non reverse in one body.
As far as the EMG question above my last post, I know if you ask the experts here, the pickups to get are ThunderBuckers, ChinaBuckers And LullBuckers.
Almost nothing about the Schecter Ultra comes up on Talkbass with a search, maybe asking the general population will turn up something.
Thanks for your feedback. :)

The Champions fit like a second skin, they're 15% spandex. Lately, I've been wearing Wrangler Vintage Straight jeans, skinny and 5% spandex. They remind of the 60s and 70s when Commando was the only way to go. Never worn boxers in my life.

This is an enlightning conversation... :)

I listened to YouTube vids of the Ultra Bass, I'm not saying EMG nailed the vintage T Bird sound but I like what I heard.
Only got one response to my questions about the Schecter Ultra bass, so I'm gonna guess that nobody has experience with one or maybe everyone is doing like Mom used to advise by not saying anything if you have nothing nice to say.

Or maybe folks around here don't quite dig them..?

Kinda like the Dean John Entwistle Hybrid Bass - No one around here, seems to have any of those either - Althoiugh they look nice...
Just about no one seems to have bought them. There were a bunch on the Guitar Center Website about six moths after the intro'd. They were blowing them out for $499 IIRC.

Tort is fugly
Pearloid on the other hand...
Tort to me looks like bloody vomit. Which, yes, is something I have seen up close. It looks a whole lot like tort pickguards.

Pearloid looks like... well... wouldn't want to break the content rules...

Entwistle Hybrid Bass? I've never heard of this.

I edited my previous post from saying... it was probably dumb for me to ask a group of T-Bird owners/fans what they thought of a Schecter T-Bird wannabe copy-ish creation to ...the comment about advise your mama gave you about saying something nice.
I figured most folks here would say outright that they hated it, I was surprised nobody did.
What I like about the Ultra (as a used item) is that for $300-$400 you end up with a maple/mahogany neck through bass, made by the best Korean shop, that does not have a three point bridge, plus a couple of EMG's, that if they sound crappy, can be changed to one of several T-Bird bucker choices.
But I'm not sure that a Tune-O-Matic type bridge is a great choice for a bass bridge either.

Here people aren't too picky about who makes the T-bird, just that it's a T-bird.

After all, quite a few people on here have Grecos.
