And Epi'sHere people aren't too picky about who makes the T-bird, just that it's a T-bird.
After all, quite a few people on here have Grecos.

That's what mine is. Epiphone is affiliated with Gibson, though, unlike Greco and Schecter. And Epi's
Tell us about your pearloid appreciationTort to me looks like bloody vomit. Which, yes, is something I have seen up close. It looks a whole lot like tort pickguards.
Pearloid looks like... well... wouldn't want to break the content rules...
Entwistle Hybrid Bass? I've never heard of this.
Yep, it just keeps getting better and better...
Any luck with your hunting btw?
Nah, I'm on thin ice with the mods.Tell us about your pearloid appreciation![]()
Yeah, 31 hrs OT last week made that happen. With a case...Is this your newie then?
Do they troll here? Seems sparsely enforced in this neck of the woodsNah, I'm on thin ice with the mods.
Still, not willing to take the chance. If I get banned again, it'll be a permaban.Do they troll here? Seems sparsely enforced in this neck of the woods
I priced out parts for a build not harvesting parts off something else. Got to $1k fast. I can buy one at that rate that's pretty niceIs this your newie then?

I listened to YouTube vids of the Ultra Bass, I'm not saying EMG nailed the vintage T Bird sound but I like what I heard.
Only got one response to my questions about the Schecter Ultra bass, so I'm gonna guess that nobody has experience with one or maybe everyone is doing like Mom used to advise by not saying anything if you have nothing nice to say.
I edited my previous post from saying... it was probably dumb for me to ask a group of T-Bird owners/fans what they thought of a Schecter T-Bird wannabe copy-ish creation ...to the comment about advise your momma gives you on saying something nice.
I figured most folks here would say outright that they hated it, I was surprised nobody did.
What I like about it (as a used item) is that for $300-$400 you end up with a maple/mahogany neck through bass that does not have a three point bridge, plus a couple of EMG's, that if they sound crappy can be changed to one of several T-Bird bucker choices.
But I'm not sure that a Tune-O-Matic type bridge is a great choice for a bass bridge either.
Really like the neck on this one in spite of being a 1.5". Super easy to play and lots of tone(s)!View attachment 1007949
Just about no one seems to have bought them. There were a bunch on the Guitar Center Website about six moths after the intro'd. They were blowing them out for $499 IIRC.
