I don't think that the two are mutually exclusive. You could be one that reads the manual during assembly/disassembly to ensure that the correct process is being followed, but the action is the learning process, not the reading.
Not sure what you're asking for specifically. Width at nut/12th fret, what are the necks made of, ??? In all honesty the whole neck radius thing (12" radius, 16" radius, A-B-C-whatever profile etc) is all semi-Greek to me so I'm unable to communicate in that language, sorry. Hopefully someone else here can answer more intelligently.
On the 5-er it's 1 7/8" edge to edge, on the Classic IV it's 1 1/2" edge to edge. The Pro V has a fairly flat neck profile, really doesn't feel particularly wide in my hand. Hope that's helpful. And you didn't have to laugh...

I have some kinda like those too (I know shocking that I'd have anything normal!) and like them a lot. I recently got some Levi's #519s and they're super skinny, so much that I can't wear boxers, thus the "Jockey for Her". Comfy!
I was frustrated with the pot or PUP issue I was having so I dug into it just a few minutes ago and I saw the loose wire immediately.
In the first two pics you can see the black wire moved and in the third pic it's newly soldered into place.
So glad it was a no cost, easy fix.
