I know it's White Bird Wednesday, but Dano of the Purple Silks asked for a guest appearance. Thanks to @WillyW for his suggestion on pre-bending the strings so they don't snap on the small tuning posts.
P.S. Gregg Rolie has a new album out and it has classic GR sound, including a redo of Look into the Future from the very first Journey album. Sonic Ranch by Gregg Rolie
Correction: from 2019, just didn't realize it due to covid...

Go for it! They aren’t very expensive, they are very unique sounding and looking and feather lite.
Yep. They sold thousands of them.I saw that Silvertone guitar/amp-in-HSC on display at Sears when I was a kid.
What amp? My Mesa from Sweetwater obviously went through their warehouse. It was double boxed with the sealed Mesa box inside a Sweetwater box. It is possible that your amp was shipped directly from the manufacturer.shag fedex and shag sweetwater
they packed a 2k amp in a single box without nearly enough padding.
refused it at the fedex store.

They’ll make it right.I have received many items from them boxed properly.
This was a "demo" Marshall SV20C...
I guess when they say "open box" you really got to take them at their word....

More live Thunderbird action.
Augusta wasn't a big city, but had a big city body count of early 'stangs and Camaros in the auto graveyards.Sad but very true of a lot of the 60’s and 70’s muscle cars. In just my senior year in high school (1977) several of my classmates totaled their cars. My recollection is a couple of late 1960’s Dodge Chargers with 440 magnum engines, a ‘70 Barracuda (fortunately just a 318 IIRC), a couple of Gen 1 Mustangs, a Camaro SS, an Olds 442 and a ‘68 Stingray roadster (rich bitch, daddy bought her a replacement). Sure would love to have each one of those today (not totaled of course). Of course there were the odd Pinto and Vega and Gremlin cars that bit the dust as well (mostly self destructed), but those I could live without.
Don’t forget my girlfriend Nikki!

A lot of my early learning (and all my early electric playing) was on a friend's B&W Silvertone AiC. Loved that thing.I saw that Silvertone guitar/amp-in-HSC on display at Sears when I was a kid.

Keep in mind, the weather outside is hot, and it’s even hotter in the back of those shipping vans. I think it was very considerate of FedEx to ventilate your amp box so your amp wasn’t exposed to any unnecessary heat. The box looked like it had been rolled down several flights of stairs.
you could see the amp through the box, I didnt get close enough to the box to inspect it
You’re in! I still like the white one with the red guard most.
