Can you tell me anything about the pups in your bass . Its the same hardware as mine and it sounds ace . I just cant seem to find out much online about them .

Not much to tell really... Some people say they are in fact regular 6-string guitar humbuckers - But I've never opened up mine, or have them out of the bass, so I couldn't tell.

Epiphone themselves claim they are TB+ Humbuckers like the ones in the Goth and the regular bolt-on bird, but in metal casings.

Personally I haven't noticed the big difference, but then again I've never compared them to each other, and since they don't have the same strings on them, the small difference that there might be, could easily be from the strings...

In the live settings I've tried them on they sounded pretty much like my other Epi birds with the black TB+ soapbars, as they needed no change in sound settings.

Thanks for the reply . Yea the only info I could get suggested the TB+ humbuckers . My other main bass is an 18v active monster that totally blows away my pbass in terms of overall volume . I was pleasantly surprised by the output and sound of them , they are pretty loud and sound great . By rolling of either bridge or neck pup and messing with the tone , I can get quite a few sounds from it . I had some bridge issues but from what I can gather , its common of that type of bridge . All sorted now though

I don't take the green one out all that often.........

I would call your endeavor/decision to pursue your vision of yourself a success. Well played...

I thought she was quite restrained given the amount of complete stupidity on that thread, what a bunch of effin pillocks and as for the OP a well known word rhyming with that thing that stops boats drifting away, what a dick head!

Wanker... There it is, I said it... ;)

Did the rear studs pull out of the body?

You can avoid this by lowering the rear studs, and raise the front stud slightly higher...
