that sux, Port Angeles rocks….wish I could spend more time there………dream town….a very dear friend from Seattle moved to Chelan……WA gets so interesting when you leave the city…
Reminds me of the 2 guys talking about getting insurance payments for their businesses being destroyed(short version). First guy says "the place burned down"; 2nd guy: "we had a flood".(pause...) 1st guy: "how do you start a flood?"

That sux, big time.
We have one credit card we use for everything and another for a backup. That's it. We don't open credit accounts with retailers. Our credit report is pretty streamlined and it's easier to keep track if something goes wrong. A $50 Amazon credit or some percentage off a first purchase isn't worth it in today's world of scammers and hackers.

Indeed it does! 70 miles west of Seattle and you're in the rain shadow of the Olympics and it's very dry, so much so that it has a species of Cacti that only grow there. Another 90 miles west and you're deep in a rain forest, 200 miles east and you're in high country forest - best kept secret.

Thanks, I've since bought some of their stuff, I like some of it and not so much other stuff, they're all in the States now.
I used to play there a lot, I miss those big clubs. There was another one in Ashland, Mass called The Cricket Lounge we used to play in a lot, same set up, two bars, held about thousand people. I have a cassette from a Saturday night gig in 1977 where the lead singer is saying "Two for one at midnight!"

that said, I've heard the "Seattle Freeze" can be very real..
They bribed me with a no interest for 2 years deal on an Ampeg Micro VR rig...and discounted it about $300...I think I've wasted the discount on phone calls to fraud departments.

I look at buying one, but when with the VP instead. The new Embassy's are much better balanced than the 60s versions.
