Thunderbird Club

Gave up beer? Sacrilege. 36 pack in the locker room and you couldn’t leave until it was all gone.
36 pack? What beer would come that way? Oh yeah, Budweiser*.

If you are being forced to remain until all the Budweiser is gone, I would suggest that you are a hostage being tortured. If you are doing so willingly, then I would suggest Stokholm Syndrome.

* We can argue the classification of Budweiser as beer separately.**
** But since it contains rice, it is not beer.***
*** Perhaps we should refer to Budweiser as sparkling sake.

Not a reflection of NY by any stretch, just a rant about many rock concerts - I just don’t get the whole mosh pit thing.

What a freaking stupid bunch of testosterone fueled low IQ morons. When I was in my teens and early twenties I was pretty much an out of control fool and never backed down from a good fight, but even then I thought the mosh thing was stupid. Bands that encourage it and glorify it with air time on their videos (like this one) should be thrown in the middle of the mosh to see how well they fair.

Ok, rant over,

I don't get it either. Yes, I go to the concert for the whole experience. But since when did this count as "dancing"?

And then the whole thing ends up looking like this:

Now where have I seen something like this before?

Now I want pizza with anchovies.

The fanned frets are multi scale, usually 37” on the low strings to 34” on the higher strings, so string choices are very limited. TI Jazz Flats and Payson Flats are about all I could find in a five string set. I don’t know if Payson makes standard 34” four string flat sets as well, but if they do they’re well worth the money, even more so for the folks in the Princess Fingers Club.
I would like to try a 34-31” fanned 4 string fret neck. I wonder if anyone makes that?

So Ernie Ball has officially pissed me off.

I bought a 12 pack treble geetar strings and 3 of the 12 high E strings broke during initial tuning.

Different tuner types, all breaks at the initial bend in the string. (split post, center post, and locking)

I emailed them, and instead of just saying " OMG, Thanks you for being a loyal customer for 25 years, let me drop 3 or 4 high E strings in the mail. So sorry for the inconvenience".

They wanted pictures of the broken strings, and some other stupid things. (threw the broken strings away)

I am not invading Poland with the free strings I am trying to scam from them....

I bought a bulk pack of SIT strings instead.

I buy a dozen sets of strings 3-4 times a year so I'm sure I'll bankrupt Ernie Ball in short order....
