I gathered they weren't your portraits, was just assessing them as portraits. If I saw the 'young' Young portrait by itself I might guess it was Neil because of the dark hair and chops, but the features are off.

When passing just about anything, being shot can appear to be an acceptable solution.

Hands are a big deal. Becoming a hand surgeon is a long ordeal - full residency in plastics or orthopaedics followed by another residency/fellowship in hands. There are a few sub-specialties that are a huge amount of work just learning what you need to know: hand surgery (orthopaedics/plastic surgery), movement disorders (neurology), electrophysiology (cardiology) to name a few. Strangely, some things that you would think are very complicated aren't; transplant comes to mind as it is a team approach with each having a very specific but limited role.
As for the insights I can provide, it is the least I can do. And I always do the least I can do...

This excellent doc by Jim Jarmusch on Crazy Horse has a great scene where the then current Neil/CH is performing a show in Germany, playing "Like a Hurricane". The camera drifts up above Neil mid song and when it slowly drifts back down, JJ seamlessly edited a performance from '76 of the same song. (brilliant!) The difference in Neils guitar approach was huge - the original raw and passionate and the recent version angular and deconstructed. For me it brought Picasso to mind -

We all knew him when... 
I do a number of Indian dishes. My tandoori chicken gets good reviews.
Unfortunately, I have had no success with Goan fish curry which is a favourite of mine.
