My first car, '61 Chevy Impala, had no seat belts, I don't think my second, a '64 had them either, don't remember whether my '65 did or not. I still miss floor high beam switches. :laugh:
Our ‘64 Malibu had factory lap belts.

My ‘59 Volvo had factory driver and front seat passenger shoulder belts. I don’t think they thought that one through.

I ended up reading a little on them the other day after I posted that, I guess they weren't mandatory in cars in the U.S until 1968 and were an option on cars.
