My first car, '61 Chevy Impala, had no seat belts, I don't think my second, a '64 had them either, don't remember whether my '65 did or not. I still miss floor high beam switches.

Our ‘64 Malibu had factory lap belts.

My ‘59 Volvo had factory driver and front seat passenger shoulder belts. I don’t think they thought that one through.

I ended up reading a little on them the other day after I posted that, I guess they weren't mandatory in cars in the U.S until 1968 and were an option on cars.

I honestly only bought one (2) because if you don’t buy a Gibson when it’s available you pay a premium once they are discontinued.

Have you tried each at the same bass? Swapping VP's pickups to Gibson NR's or vice versa?

Me too also. I have a stupidly high falsetto(up to C above the treble clef staff), but no tenor.

Yes, a '55. I've had it about as long as the '64 Thunderbird (1981ish). Body refin on the 55 may be as old as I am (59!). Fender flats in the pic, but it has Pyramid Gold flats on it now and sounds really good.
