Thunderbird Club

oh shoot, i thought I was on a car forum for a minute!

As promised, here's a Bandcamp link to the 4 song demo we just put out. Would love to get ears/shares/likes/etc on it if you wouldn't mind. T-bird related content: the bass you hear is my Epi Thunderbird. That's all.

Now how about some car AND T-bird related content? It's a Ford Thunderbird Member's Only jacket circa 1985. Evidently when you bought a Ford T-bird in the mid 80's, you got one of these jackets too. My FIL gave it to me years ago and it makes its way to a gig every now and then. :)

Ya know, we’re all kinda used to club members accidentally (or not) getting their feet in the photo, but ears? :roflmao:
Jacket looks cool! Should get a chance to peruse the video in a bit.

A few days ago we had all this talk in the Bird club about WWII planes and then the Texas disaster hit.
Today we have all this talk of classic cars and now this hits…
Jay Leno Seriously Burned in Car Fire

No details yet, hope Jay is OK, he’s always been a pretty cool guy. I’ve talked to him a few times about cars, very down to earth.

I’m not sure what we should talk about next, I’d hate for anything to happen to our Tbirds.
Hey, how about we talk about ex-spouses!;)
Saw that about Leno. Certainly hope he recovers. Seem's like a great guy. Late night being funny went in the toilet after him.

I've never had an ex-spouse. Should I get one and if so, should I tell my wife I want one for Christmas?

And those Plymouth Furys , those were in transatlantic barge territory.

Myself, I liked those mid-to-late 70s Ramchargers.
One of our neighbors had a more barebones version of this, but he could take the top-off. I thought that was the coolest thing on earth, until I learned about Thunderbird basses :)

I'd like one of these monsters. I believe the '73 Imperial had the longest wheelbases of that era.

That's a big car, I bet we could hold a 2 vs 2 ping pong game using that trunk for a table. It's nice to see these pics, always felt cars had personalities back then.
Yeah, I know how it sounds....:sorry:

Yeah, now most cars now look like some variation of a turd. Thanks largely to gov regs on milage.

The '73 wasn't the best looking or had the best lines...but that sucker was so big it commanded attention.
