In the late 90s the Peseta was about 34:1 with the US$. A but before the Euro kicked in. Though if you look it up today, it says 162:1.

I lived in Spain during the Peseta (duros, pelas, etc) and in France when they went from the Franc to the Euro but still don’t see how it affects the price of a refin unless folks still talk in pesetas which from my experience has not happened in decades….In the late 90s the Peseta was about 34:1 with the US$. Agreed. My daughter lived in Girona and Barcelona from 2009-2017 and no one talked about the peseta.I lived in Spain during the Peseta (duros, pelas, etc) and in France when they went from the Franc to the Euro but still don’t see how it affects the price of a refin unless folks still talk in pesetas which from my experience has not happened in decades….
That's because you don't talk about the Peseta.Agreed. My daughter lived in Girona and Barcelona from 2009-2017 and no one talked about the peseta.

Thanks Chuck. It's an '05. Not much love for that era that had the S1 switch. Push the center of the vol and it changes the wiring from series or parallel mode, thicker and bigger to less bass and more bright, would be how I would describe it. I don't use it very often, but have on occasion. Most love to hate them. I don't get it. Just leave it alone and it sounds like a typical thick Pbass.
Kind of a sentimental bass. I hadn't been playing for years and I loaned my '78 Pbass with an "A" neck and DiMarzios to a guy at church. (It was my main gigging bass and sounded and played fantastic.) The church was broken into and that bass was stolen. It was good in that it got me interested in playing again after looking into info for insurance. I got a G&L L2k blue burst with the insurance money. Months later after starting to play again, and at a local shop, out of the blue Sandra said, "you miss having a Precision don't you? Do you like that one?" I knew the guy and we made a good deal and it came home. It's great to play and sounds great as well. People dis those years, but there's not a thing wrong with mine and it's a joy to play--for a couple reasons.

I've never tried a Fender with the S1 switch.
I have, and found the S1 switch to be very advantageous on a Precision.
yep, the one to the right…I remember this!
That's built into a guitar case?

For the added parallel switching? The tone is supposed to stay the same with less volume too, right?
yep, the one to the right…

could never be legally sold today…..UL would have a field day lol…ah, the good old days….I remember those things having very flat shallow necks which I liked, course it's been a few years, I seem to remember his being a double pickup with a headstock like the one on the left though but the rest of it didn't look like that.
Edit, ok, I found one just like my buddie's.
