I played this at rehearsal last night................

I think the neighbors heard it quite well too.

Dang!
One of my new bass build bodies that was on back order just got cancelled. Now I have a neck, pic guard, pickups, hardware, electronics, bridge and tuners with no freakin body. Oh well, I’ll try and find another supplier. I sure wish I had the shop and all the wood working equipment I had in my last house. Maybe I’ll set up shop in the next house.

Strange question here... awhile back you posted a pic of Nasty Habits playing in Port Townsend. I was wondering what sort of travel/accommodation arrangements a Seattle band needs to make to play on the penisula? It seems like the ferry isn't an option for getting home after a Saturday night gig. Do venues in Port Townsend make it worthwhile to stay overnight?

That show was a party that one person paid our fee to play, it was a small place and they otherwise couldn't have paid us what we charge. There's a couple of reasonable hotels in Pt Townsend but i really don't think there's a venue large enough in town to make the trip worthwhile dollar wise. 7 Cedars in Sequim is a far better place to try to get into, they'll put you up someplace and pay you some decent money. The Metta Room in Pt Angeles is good too, though they don't pay for your rooms.
I will say that we've always had a lot fun out there playing '80s covers, made lots of friends, great times too.

 Holy crap, that's expensive...

Good work usually is, at the time that was more than I paid for the bass, it's worth much more now. Working with Mike was always fun, he was just very genuine, a nice guy and a talented luthier, I spent many thousands of dollars at his shop and always got quality work, he could take a bass and set it up so sweet........ I miss him a great deal.
