Thunderbird Club

450 squids is not an insignificant amount of wonga. Makes the Thunderbuckers look cheap.
Not wrong, you can buy an Epi classic and a hard case for that and still have change for a bag of chips and curry sauce. Trouble is thunderbuckers don't come much cheaper here by the time you've paid for postage and import duty, £300 for the pups, £60-£80 duty and the postage, probably top the £400.

That's why I'm seriously considering either chinabuckers or Mojo's (probably the latter)for my new build, I just can't justify that sort of outlay

I do them myself, so honestly don't know that answer. Visually the difference is subtle, but just a slight increase in the radius there makes a drastic change in feel. For me this also helps in my left hand speed and fatigue as well
Well, I play two Rickenbackers, an Epiphone, and a Peavey, so I'm reasonably sure that my basses don't have this.

You should try chips and cheese mate. No finer gutter food to be had after a night out on the hoy in Edinbvrgh. With broon saas too, none of that ketchup malarky.

trans: a box of chips with grated cheese, raw onion and HP sauce is excellent fare if you have been out on the piss in the Athens of the North.

I love hot cheese and I love chips but together just doesn't do it for me. I found myself working out of Leith for a short while just after leaving the navy, it was a brilliant few month living off heavy (80), bridie and chips. Never did manage the deep fried mars bar

That's clean, licked it myself!
One of these is what you need

Never had the deep-fried Mars bar but I have done a whole battered black pudding - it was a bit dry but otherwise not bad. My usual is a haddock supper with mushy peas.

I'm a haddock person too, mostly with curry sauce but often with peas, they have that old fashioned taste that reminds me of being a kid. Battered haggis was one I liked too, you have to give it to the Scotts, they have brought some unlikely but wonderful dishes to the world. We need an up to date run down on what's being served from @rumblejunkie

Aye, for them 'bring your national dish to work' things I always promise haggis. All the proper aussies go all green and wobbly.

This was the view out my kitchen window for a few years.

I love haggis especially with bread and butter (OK so I'm Welsh!!) I try not to think what's in it but what the hell it's delish.

I feel I should know where that photo is, the only place that springs to mind is down towards Holyrood?

Maaaaaaaaaaaan
After i spend my saved up money for a Gibson Thunderbird, 3 days later, a Mike Lull T-bird shows up for...... shaging 1600$!!!
I mean..... come on.... in the past 2 years there was no Lull T-bird in Japan for selling, and 3 days later... and for 1600$. are you insane!?
this is a joke.... a comedy.
Look on the brightside, at least you got the real thing not a copy :roflmao:

It's been cold (by SoCal standards) and rainy here so the wife and I made up some Shepards Pie and for dessert I had an exceptionally strong beaker of Builders tea and a couple of Mr. Kiplings mince meat pies. If it's still rainy and cold in the morning I'll wake up to a tall mug of Irish Coffee with a double shot of whiskey before I walk the Aussie.

I do like a cup of tea, especially with a couple of digestives to dunk
