Thunderbird Club

I really have to put what the contents of a haggis is to some dark place when I'm eating one, now is OK no problem but the thought of eating lung etc. at the time is risking losing my lunch. It's a very variable thing haggis, to a non scott it seems well worth while getting a more expensive one but even that comes nowhere near getting one from a butcher in Alba

Its really just chopped up Englishmen thats in Haggis . Were still on the reserves of the ones we butchered at Bannockburn :D
And even if that were true , Id still rather eat that , than chips n curry sauce or deep fried Mars bar ;)

Chips are what we Americans call "fries," right?

I think that would be good with curry sauce.

So like what we call home fries, like this?

No they are like fries but just cut bigger.

After i spend my saved up money for a Gibson Thunderbird, 3 days later, a Mike Lull T-bird shows up for...... shaging 1600$!!!
I mean..... come on.... in the past 2 years there was no Lull T-bird in Japan for selling, and 3 days later... and for 1600$. are you insane!?
this is a joke.... a comedy.

Other than it being stolen and sold cheap for drug money, it's usually a clueless newbie seller who screws up the established resale worth of instruments.

I prefer chicken eggs to fish eggs, personally.

The way I play them, bridge pickup only, they sound extremely similar (but then, the 4001 is a restoration with 4003 electronics). The feel is similar, slightly different necks. The 4001 is a lot heavier.

The neck pickup there's a bit more difference, as the 4003S still has the high-gain pickup, while the 4001 I have a toaster in (I'm going to have a toaster put in the 4003S). The 4001's neck pickup is a bit more "tame" I suppose. Not as mid forward or high output. Does a better upright emulation.

I don't really use the stereo on the 4001 really. In a mix, I doubt anyone could tell the difference between the two, especially since I usually only play the bridge pickup.

Do the moderne 4003 and 4003s also have dual trussrods as the 4001 has, and does the 4003s have the push-pull circutry to switch between modern and vintage tone?
