Thunderbird Club

And with lemon, trying to keep up with the shorbread dunkers, not only shortbread but bloody Walkers shortbread!!!
Well, truth be told, if I can't find Walkers, Stewart's will do in a pinch (I just dump them into the Walkers tin before the servants arrive)

Now on to my penchant for being fed peeled grapes whilst I recline in my shade covered field side lounge sipping Dom Pérignon and watching a rousing good game of Polo. Tally-ho, pip pip and all that rot!

If you're gonna go, go big!

I read an article recently that said that half the time the fish we are eating in resturants is not what its supposed to be ! Its a cheaper substitute like Hake or Whiting . Im not a fan of fish so I couldnt tell anyway .
Ive heard that too. Having grown up in AK and now living in Middle America I am extremely picky about fish.

Poutine. Have eaten the US made variant and it was very good IMO.
Dyslexia got the better of me there, I thought you meant pooteen the Irish hooch (not the legalised bath water that's sold in shops). I was thinking "eat it?" must need some more distilling! Hellish stuff, melts plastic cups and strips some paints :roflmao:

Living near where the fish are fresh really helps, I do enjoy living someplace where you can buy really fresh, good fish.

I know that cafe, although I've not been in. It's always full of hipsters.
Then you need to romp on in every now and then. Can't let those hipsters think they own the joint! I'm sure you and that chicken eatin Geordie could shake things up for the better there! Maybe they'll let you set up a head bangin band to counter the Bon Iver tunes wofting through the room.

Do the moderne 4003 and 4003s also have dual trussrods as the 4001 has, and does the 4003s have the push-pull circutry to switch between modern and vintage tone?

I can answer regarding 4003, but I assume the 4003S would be similar.
It depends how old the 4003 is on both issues.
4003s have dual truss rods, but not the same system as the 4001 had. The modern truss rods operate more like other brands' truss rods. I think I read there may have been some overlap of systems in the very early production 4003 still having the old 4001 truss rod system.
The "vintage tone circuit" was reintroduced a couple of years back, not sure exactly when.
My 98 4003 didn't have it but I have retro fitted it since buying the bass.

I agree whole heartedly. Around hear people seam to not understand that when walking into a market you are NOT supposed to smell fish! Makes me want to puke every time. :vomit:

I've never had fresh King Crab - it's a goal of mine!

We have a thing here called a slopper,
Open face cheeseburger covered in "fries" covered in cheese, covered in pork green chili, covered in cheese
And don't forget the breakfast slopper - open face 3/4 pound cheeseburger on a bed of steak fries with fried bacon and eggs on top smothered in chili and cheese. My Doctor called it "Cardiac Arrest on a Platter" and asked that I stop eating it. :rollno:
Got a new Doctor instead, problem solved. :hyper:
