Thunderbird Club

Can't afford that. I figure when I order I'll do it by Thomann, they have full refund return policies, so on that front I'll be covered and I'll also look at the Rick as a future investment, not just an instrument for me to play. Besides Greco Ricks are getting almost as expensive as proper Ricks and Grecos aren't as reliably available as Rickenbackers are.

All members I miss on these threads. Life has many paths, I hope they all are healthy and truckin on the one they like.

Kat surfaces from time to time on the Thunderbird M/C thread, and Carlo infrequently on random tb threads.

I ordered a set of Rotos RS77LD Flatwounds (45-105) from Thomann today because no one here works with Rotosound anymore. Can't wait to have them installed on Mt T-Bird.

I'm not sure if they sell them here in Peru or not, I buy a bunch them when I go back to the States although I use the stainless round wounds. I think they do sell them here though. I'm really surprised you can't get them in Spain.

something must have happened cause I used to buy the regularly in Spain in the 80’s…

Been doing some numbers and studying the situation and have figured out that if I want a Rickenbacker like bass I'm going to have to get either an used Rick or a new one since for what I've seen Greco's Rick's have gotten close to Rickenbackers in price, so maybe I'd better save some more wait longer and get a Rick...

If you like a thin neck I would save up some money and get a nice '70's 4001, they have that classic sound too. They're both nice though.

I was looking for the Kawi that was in that movie.
But this is a resto, recreation of that bike.

I loved how all the law-enforcement vehicles were souped-up. In the US, cop cars had "Interceptor" engines - high-performance power-plants to chase down bad guys... (driving high-performance muscle-cars!)
