still around? NYC with Rosa in 2017(?) and i think we were in Soho (too bad we hadn’t hooked up yet)….recall them carrying the newly reissued Supro brand…..the upstairs was all very expensive arch tops including Barney Kessels, L5s etc…..could it have been Manny’s? just don’t recall….

Well, that's actually little bit true as well. The situation has to justify it or it goes downhill!

Sometimes more true when a fair amount of alcohol has been involved.

I think it's pretty cool especially the shot with the headstock, that headstock is very cool looking, goes with the body perfectly.

I bet @dukeorock could play those basses. I finally gave up and raised the action a bit on the Greco I bought from him; that was the first time I’ve run across a bass with action too low for me.

I think I read someplace from whoever set them up that they were practically lying across the strings and no one in the shop could play it. I like to dig in so low low action like that is out of the question for me, for me string height is a compromise and I fiddle with them a lot.

I'm glad you finally see that it really doesn't look that good. Honestly, none of us had the heart to say anything about that weird looking bass.

I love the BoL Bison bass -which is pretty out there design-wise. I've never held one but I'm imagining it's a boat-anchor.
