I confess, they did sound great on the white VP. I sure would have been happy if they worked out. I just still wanted my fingers after playing. Must be allergic to that Plutonium 238 in those strings. :smug:
I still love the EBCFs I had on my 67, and that are on the Les Paul 5er, but I ordered a set of SIT Power Flats(like is on the 67 ATM)for the Embassy. ~$12 cheaper. They don't have Cobalt, but they do have purple silks.:smug:
 
Well, he was 'The Ox'.


The funny thing is he had an unbelievably light touch, I saw him with his own band a few times in 1999, once I was about ten feet in front of him while he was on a 18" high stage. When he did those triplets he used to do he hardly even touch the strings and people said his action was so low no one could play his basses besides him. He was an ox with the touch of a butterfly. :laugh:
