Keep Me Hanging On was my intro. I loved it as much as the Supremes version. Compositionally and overall, the Fudge ruled this song, but the Supremes voices had an appeal to this 10 year old that VF couldn’t touch.

The more I get into covering the Motown/Stax stuff, it seems like a lot of it was great musicians (that played together a lot) jamming it out in the studio + top notch vocalists.
We didn’t know it, but our 10 year old brains were getting some great music education.

Yes! I didn't when a young adult, but the older I get the more incredible I think those musicians were.

tell me about it….American automotive electrical systems of the time were light years ahead in reliablility…why the mystery?, clearly it was possible as proven by US carmakers…..often wonder if WWII fighters like Spits and Hurricane had similar issues…

They must have had Delco electric stuff or something, not Lucas. The RAF would have been grounded most of the time if those planes had Lucas electrics.
