Cherie was in a band before she started Bond Girl called the Minks - an all female Kinks-covers band where she played bass. She has an Ibanez or something like that - I've yet to see it.

I briefly had a Trooper - worst vehicle I've ever owned, nothing but trouble. You don't see them out here anymore - probably for good reason.
Can't believe the price dropping on these things now. Must be the booming economy.

Not if you don’t mind playing in F# tuning.
So that bass is for sale for how much? And the bridge posts have been moved so that its impossible to set the intonation, no matter what strings you use. Yikes!

They do - I had a SDR5 that I gilded (center) I call that look "shatterburst" - etched silver leaf over black.

In the market for a Sunburst Fenderbird and found this one, but I find it a bit confusing ? Advertised as a Pro, has the Pro bridge (Schaller) but is passive and the pickups look more like those on the Classive Pro IV.

It either came as a bolt-on or if it was a neck-thru, the neck was cut off, the body routed for a neck pocket and tr scallop, and it was refinished - at least the black halo. Anythings possible. I remember seeing a black Fenderbird for sale on ebay years ago by a Florida seller. It supposedly was a '65 body/pu's/bridge married to a '68 Fender J neck. I was tempted to buy it but it was a little past my limit. Seller said Jaco played it once... possible I guess for whatever that was worth.
My bet is that its an Epi Classic Pro that probably had a bad neck break or someone just wanted to make it a bolt neck. You can see the neck ply's in the center of the body, and the jack is on the butt of the body. A bolt-neck Epi wouldn't have the neck ply's and there would be some sort of evidence of a plugged input jack on the face. As always, I could be wrong.
