It is outstanding.

Well done! Cool bridge. I like how subtle the blue pearl is.

That bass turned out amazing!!

Beautiful job - Done right!
Looks stock at first glance, until you take a closer look and see all the excellent detail work and unique hardware selections and the cool white color.

Thanks everyone. It is a great player. One of my go to basses. I had that neck for a long time before I modified it.

It was on my first bass. I didn't really like the bass or the neck profile, but it was rock solid stable. I never had adjust the truss rod for over 15 years.

Seemed like a good candidate to mod and turn it into something I would use and keep a piece of my first bass with me.

That's a hell of a collection. I like those old Japanese basses with lots of unique style.

I think I've shown this one, maybe here and probably on the distressed finishes thread.

I made the neck. based loosely on the teisco del Rey neck. 32" scale again. Body is of unknown origin. Old, plywood, and likely Japanese.

yep - seen & 'liked' it - :bassist:

For white bird Wednesday, video has surfaced from our show a few weeks ago.

This was this bands first show together. It went well. Lots of people and they got into it.

White custom build 32" scale bird. White acoustic 370 with 2 custom built 1 15 fiberglass cabs.

I've tried offandon all day to get this to play. Nope.

you know they made it two other colours, you might want to pick those up too....
When I joined this club I had one Tbird shaped object. Soon it became two. Then a third and fourth. A few years ago I had enough birds to play a different one every day of the week. I’m now bumping up against having enough to play a different one every other day for a month. When I get to the point where I have one for every day of the month I’ll start to taper off. I guess my personal limit would be a different Tbird for every day of the year, I don’t think I’ll hit that limit anytime soon.

:) Thanks! I just noticed the ones I play are the ones w/o a bridge cover! Oh, And I failed to include my '66 J...

I had what I think was a '66 J decades ago. Someone had stripped the body and (poorly) made it a nasty shade of natural. I stripped it and finished it in black. I got it cheap and ended up trading it for either the '55 Pbass or '64 Thunderbird. It was a vintage shop and the guy gave me more than I paid and I only gave him $100-150 extra, IIRCC. He was excited to see it. Something about the fretboard seemed to catch his attention. Scalloped maybe--if that was even a thing then. Had lollipops, which are so cool. I was happy with the trade, but always wondered why he was so interested and happy to get it. Playing wise I came out ahead as I like my '55 and without question the '64. Monetary-wise, I almost certainly came out ahead if everything were sold today. This doesn't matter to me. I was happy then and now. I've got an old pic someplace I need to dig up.
