Lead Sled - my dad had one (stock!) in a deep maroon that he bought after coming home from WWII. I saw pics, I wasn't aware of our family car until he bought a '57 Chevy wagon.
Not his - but just like it. He rented a pop-up trailer in the same colours for one of our family vacations out west.

Cool guitar museum - of note at 1:04, a pic of a late '60s NR IV in Pelham blue - what is curious is what appears to be 'Gibson' decal on the hs (like the new NR) and on the tr cover. Double branded!

Hmmm, 59 FB Holden Special.
The inspiration from the 57 Chev is pretty obvious from this angle.
We had one of these but a 60/1 EK Special in grey and the contrast colour was a white roof rather than the FB’s flash.
