So, I have to burn up some leave. Took a day trip to Kurnell to see the place where Capt Cook came ashore in 1770. It's probably 50 years since I've been here. Probably around 1970 ish.
Of course, access closed down while they are building a new ferry wharf. Lucky Geoff.
Still it's a nice day and have seen some other stuff. I'll do a bit more of a walk around yet

Yikes. Sorry. Man.I was kidding JIO about about Fedmess on his resto thread, but I do have another story. I'll be brief. Wife bought a watch from Samsung and they sent it from TX to Memphis. Was told it was gong to be here a day early. Given when it arrived at Memp. that was not going to happen. Days later it was still there. More days after conversations, "Susan" from Fedmess in India called said we would have to call the sender. She claimed they received the box empty. (Meaning an employee opened it and stole it.) You know Samsung sends empty boxes and the people handling it from Samsung to Fedmess in TX would never notice or question a box of air--or likely opened or tampered with after Fedmess was involved. On top of that, seems reasonable that as soon as someone found the box empty they would notify someone. But no. We had to keep pressing. I guess they just figured an empty box being shipped was normal I guess. That's three somewhat expensive packages they have messed up for us in the last year and a half or so. I noticed Sweetwater does not use them as a primary shipper any longer. Wised up I suppose.

Nah, in that I said it looked like a Fordin that De Soto was Chrysler's poorer sibling…![]()
Great photos! What's the bird? And the car?
Sweet looking ride!An Australian Magpie - the most dangerous critter we have here. But this one was ok. But Spring (not long now) is also known as "Swooping Season" because they are very territorial and will swoop on people and peck your head. Not as fun as it sounds. Some people get hit around the eye, but mostly they will swoop from behind you. You will see people wearing plastic ice cream containers as helmets, some paint faces on them to trick the Maggie's, cyclists put plastic ties on their helmets - sticking up like spikes lol
On the other hand they are very intelligent birds and can remember humans faces. So if you are nice to them they let you through unmolested.
That's my car, a Holden Commodore SV6 Sportswagon. Like a Chevy SS, but the 3.6 V6 instead of the V8, oh and a wagon. From 2017, the last year of local production. Plan to keep it, all going well.
So weird.Found another photo of a Pro IV control cavity. This one is a 2017 from Indonesia. Mine is a 2010 from China. Apparently, the one pot has no lid.
