We have two 5 ton AC units at our house that were installed 25 years ago when the house was built. One of them went out about 3 years ago and cost $12,000 to replace, fortunately we had a home warranty policy, so our out of pocket was about $100. Unfortunately, that warranty company cancelled us (guess they lost too much money). Now we're scrambling around trying to find another warranty company before the next AC unit goes out.Don't talk about A/C please.
