The Peavey T-40/T-45 pu's are really good sounding and versatile pu's. They can be coil-split and reversed for more tonal options. I've used them in a couple projects that I've since sold.

I have to give a huge "thank you" here to our fellow TBer' Frank @FRoss6788 he, and his wife came out to see the band last night. Your support was greatly appreciated, and nice to chat with you about Santa Cruz, it's a small world sometimes as I think you are familiar with all of @Chucky Stiletti hangouts.

It was a bit chilly as we got started, my fingers were cold and stiff and I struggled to play well, needed a coat for the first 7-8 songs.

Over the years I have been fortunate to meet some really wonderful people while being in this band, here, on the left is my friend Sanny, she attended our first public show in P.A. 20 years ago, all these years later she's an amazing person, marathon runner, Park Service Ranger and now, U.S. Marshall, one can only be grateful for the gifts life gives you.

TT!

Epi Silverburst. Awaiting a black PG and TR cover with chrome logos from my buddy Irv. It originally came with a black PG, but a prior owner swapped it out for a white one. Unfortunately, the white guard had different screw holes. Otherwise, this would be perfect for a clear PG, but the misplaced holes would show. I'm shallow, and proud of it.

Here's something interesting for TT. I got the Lemonbird back with Thunderbucker 66s in it. No rings because either way, they're not staying in this bass. Gotta play more and try it out at band practice, but so far I like them a lot. Not terribly unlike my TB+, but slightly less low end, better definition, and cleaner. The last thing kinda surprised me. The TB+ have more inherent grit to them, which I like. So I still love my TB+ and doubt they'll get replaced in the 2013 reverse. I would've put the 2001s in, had they not been so noisy. The RNR is fair game.

I kinda had the same retirement plan. Best laid plans of mice and men I guess.
I'm spending more on gear now that I'm retired than I was when working.

I buy from him occasionally. Often a couple sellers on Reverb have them fro 17.99 and free shipping. Some times I get a better price offered if something is in the cart or watch list. That's hit and miss.

He's my first go to if he has them. It's a California thing. I buy California first for most things. If I can. Too bad I don't like 7enders more. He now has some kind of discount program for frequent customers that I guess I'm a member of.

That said, there are a couple other online sellers for strings I also use occasionally. They're all good. Amazon is a last resort.
