Djerassi Resident Artist Program. Off Skyline, about 3 miles in West Bear Gulch Road, then another mile or so into private property, then another 1/2 mile down a dirt trail. Called the “Old Barn”

Big setup for the show we didn’t play.
…let’s NOT do this?
Did a video shoot with Red Sun Ruins today. My new natural Thunderbird got lots of indoor camera time. The green P was used for outdoor, cuz it looks so good in the sun.

Did some shots in front of this. Note the bullet holes?

That sausage delivery van/truck is a kinda creepy monument ATC. The book "Crash" in 1973 by JG Ballard (later made into a Cronenberg movie of the same name in 1996) focuses on the fetish'ing of car crashes. (historically nefarious car-related) Very psychologically dark and twisted, a theme as so many of Cronenberg's films covered. In it there's a morbid fascination with vehicles that were part of historic car-crash related scenes. I won't give it away... it's a very provocative film as all of his films are. I like his films - but they are not for everyone.
But as an example of the power (after the fact) of a car that was involved with a nefarious historic event - when JG Ballard first released his book Crash in '73, he had a galley exhibit in NYC's SoHo district of a car that had been in a fatal collision - dropped "as is" in a gallery space. Attendees were outraged and were physically repulsed by the reality of that "death car". Needless to say - icons are psychologically loaded.
Really insightful review -
