For some reason, this reminded me that armadillo is referred to as "possum on the half-shell".

In case you’re not aware, you would need to move the stud inserts to use the 2 piece bridge on a bass that has a 3 point.

And me personally, I have no problem with filling or plugging the original holes.
It’s not an original Gibson.
My tech will make it all right.

Always judge a BBQ joint by their turkey. Hands down, that's the hardest protein to nail consistently.

My initial and superficial test is if there is no fat dude outside in the back sweating doing the cooking near stacked wood...keep going.

For sure, but that gold finish on the Anniversary would be tough to match. I saw one in a store a while back that had a big chip repaired on the headstock and it wasn't pretty.

Thanks for the info - now you've pointed it out it seems obvious (but it wasn't before)! I've since put a gold Hipshot on this Anni but am going to check out a '15 NR Tb and a Greco tomorrow, and the Greco has a two piece set up already, tho it looks like the studs would still need moving.

Typo? Do you mean a reverse ‘15 like this?

Or a ‘13 NR like this?

Both are great Thunderbirds. Different from each other. And pretty darn rare.
