we're such snobs....she doesn't care about black hardware...three point bridges....prolly one of the reasons Gibson ignores our pleads.....![]()
Nah. It’s a nice Thunderbird. I’m not going to subject it to indiscriminate sprays of gunk like I would if it was a Squier.Blast it with Deoxit 5.
Deoxit 5 on the pots will remove any oxidation and will not hurt the finish or other electronics. Just open the swimming pool and give each pot a squirt, rotate the pots a few times and see what happens. I've done it several times and it works perfectly for scratchy and staticy pots.Nah. Invite her to the GTG.Obviously we need to bring her into our ranks and enable change![]()
I know. I was trying to be cheeky. My bottle of the stuff is at the other house and I keep forgetting to bring it when I leave.Deoxit 5 on the pots will remove any oxidation and will not hurt the finish or other electronics. I am waiting for a response on an address and when he is available. Looks like the upper strap button was moved and left a missing chunk of finish. I'll use that to offer less and then go buy some white CA and do my normal sand, polish, and buff...assuming the electronics work and the neck is straight.I know. I was trying to be cheeky. Seriously, go pick up that Custom Shop. I think you’ll like it.

As is with no description of possible issues. Chucky could probably make it right, the question is what does it need? If it only needs tubes, servicing, and a gain knob, that would be a deal. Are you feeling lucky?I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER AMP
