Thunderbird Club

we're such snobs....she doesn't care about black hardware...three point bridges....prolly one of the reasons Gibson ignores our pleads.....

Obviously we need to bring her into our ranks and enable change

Nah. It’s a nice Thunderbird. I’m not going to subject it to indiscriminate sprays of gunk like I would if it was a Squier.
Deoxit 5 on the pots will remove any oxidation and will not hurt the finish or other electronics. Just open the swimming pool and give each pot a squirt, rotate the pots a few times and see what happens. I've done it several times and it works perfectly for scratchy and staticy pots.

I know. I was trying to be cheeky. My bottle of the stuff is at the other house and I keep forgetting to bring it when I leave.

Seriously, go pick up that Custom Shop. I think you’ll like it.

I am waiting for a response on an address and when he is available. Looks like the upper strap button was moved and left a missing chunk of finish. I'll use that to offer less and then go buy some white CA and do my normal sand, polish, and buff...assuming the electronics work and the neck is straight.

As is with no description of possible issues. Chucky could probably make it right, the question is what does it need? If it only needs tubes, servicing, and a gain knob, that would be a deal. Are you feeling lucky?

I was tempted to ask what is wrong with it, but that’s the first step down the road I need not go…

so in love with that bass......

That makes (at least) two of us :D
I think it's going along for the Halloween show as well, it's "the big rock show" so I'm thinking I'll bring 4 basses out.
