Thunderbird Club

forgot it’s history….Lull pup? original finish right?…..btw, there is a white BaCH NRII trying to move in….

Lull and original finish, yes, 1 of 10 in blue.
I'm surprised it's taken this long for the white NRII, to come to completion...........You know you want it! :D

BTW a new Gibson pickup would work really well in it, if you don't have something lined up, that's what Rob is using in that NR I posted earlier today.

great choice, the Spyder 550 is a great option as a true hybrid as well….
my living (away from man cave) room setup, no messy clutter…plenty of “deep, smooth, creamy” from 300 all tube Watts into 4 x 8” drivers…
under 1k (used of course) for everything…..

All tube watts refers to the power section, I assume? The core signal chain is all tube, but then there's that blasted graphic EQ and such...

Bit of a rough day. I thought I was having a heart attack since I was on the verge of fainting standing or sitting, couldn’t focus, and was sweating profusely. Went to the extent of calling 911. The very nice paramedics checked out my blood pressure and blood sugar and I was ok. Probably exhaustion and a bit of an ear ache. I slept the rest of the afternoon.
I hate that I’m old enough to even worry about a heart issue. Beyond having a broken heart.

Yep. She just plays them. She records, tours, and is a Mom to twin daughters who are nine or ten. She doesn’t have time to pick nits. Not sure how many Thunderbirds she has, at least six or seven reverses.
I have only seen vids of her playing reverses, plus the one ancient thing with an FSO before she saw the light[ning].

We''ll get you doing wind sprints haulin' an SVT head and two pr410 cabs with a 76 Non-reverse in a hard case before breakfast everyday and cure you.

No age is immune to heart issues. A friend of mine (Mark Heard) had a heart attack on stage when he was 40. We also knew a 12 y/o with a hole in her heart. Yikes!

I'm glad you are ok!

the pickup that is in that new Brooks bass that I’m building, is not the Gibson pickup you sent me! It’s an EY Guitars pickup.
